Do you think that the words you speak every day can have an effect on your life and the lives of others around you? Is it possible that your words can impact your life in a very definite way, either for good or for bad? In this dynamic and condensed book, I am going to answer these and other similar questions in order to help you better understand one of the most important realities affecting your life today. There are a number of important principles or laws operating in life, secrets that if you understand and apply them correctly in your life, have the ability to transform and sustain your life in a dynamic way. One such a principle is the power vested in our words.

Few people are aware of the fact that the very words that come from their mouths have the ability not to only impact their lives, but to literally steer it into various directions, depending on what they believe and what they speak. Words are more than just a means for us to share thoughts, ideas and our experiences with others. Words are much more than sound. Words set in motion events in your life, affecting your experiences.

Just as the rudder of a ship determines whereto the ship will sail, so your tongue steers your life into various directions. Although a ships rudder is small compared to the overall size of a ship, it is powerful enough, due to its position, to control the entire ship with the greatest of ease. Your tongues actions, your words, can be compared to a ships rudder, small, yet powerful. In order to live a life that is praiseworthy and successful, it is vital that your words align themselves with purpose and divine destiny.

The tongue can be the best part of man, yet also the worst. With good government your tongue becomes a useful instrument, but without good government, ones tongue becomes the source of destruction and failure. The thing is this; both your negative and positive words have tremendous power in your life, and you need to decide how you are you going to use it. You can either use it to destroy yourself and others around you or you can begin to speak life and hope into your life and challenging situations and begin the steering process towards breakthroughs and success. The words that come out of your mouth, whether good or evil are endowed with life altering capability.

Edifying words carry life within them just as negative words carry death in them. Every person, including you, needs to decide how they are going to use their words.

Our planet is inhabited by people from various tribes and tongues, but although we might be of different color and speaking different languages, the same powerful ability to bring either life or death rests within the tongue of each individual. The ability to steer your life into a specific direction is a gift that requires great responsibility. To abuse this gift can be detrimental. In fact, history reveals that nations often live the reality of the words they speak over themselves. If you want to transform your nation, begin by choosing the words you speak wisely. The words of Mahatma Gandhi brought Britain to its knees and brought freedom to India. Never underestimate the power of the tongue. Take control of your habitual negative and critical vocabulary and you will begin to see a change in the quality of your life.

The internationally renowned Japanese scientist Dr. Masaru Emoto, began experimenting with water and what effect of our thoughts, feelings and words have on water molecules. His experiments yielded fascinating results and it once again confirmed that what is recorded in the Bible regarding the power of our words is true. Your words have a definite effect on everything around you.

What Dr. Emoto did was to expose different kinds of water such as spring, filtered and tap water to different sounds, words, and images. He then photographed the water crystals that resulted when each water sample was frozen. If you have not seen these photographs, I encourage you to do so. The results were amazing. The purified or spring water that was exposed to beautiful music and words that were kind and loving created very delicate and fascinating shaped crystals. On the other hand, when the water was exposed to very harsh music and words, the water crystals were very deformed, not nearly looking as nice as the water crystals that were exposed to positive words.

On the next page are some photos of water crystals after having been exposed to music and words. You will notice the difference between the water being exposed to positive and uplifting music and words verses the water that was exposed to negative words.
