I come from a family who not only have mature facial hair but more importantly are mature men who know how to live life and love their wives and kids. It is more crucial than ever for men to rise up to be the men they need to be and impact their friends, families, and their world.

I stand with Darrin in his call for all of us to be better men. It has served me well to surround myself with men who can help me become the man I want to be. So, I have made it my practice to consistently read the Bible as well as other books on leadership and character to help me stay grounded and to excel in what God has called me to do. This is one of those go-to books that will help you become the man you were created to be. It will help you to never lose the desire to be better.

Darrin covered the entire scope of what it means to be a man and offers incredible insight and experience to help us be stronger in all aspects of our manhoodfrom marriage, to work, to fatherhood, to friendship, and even how we connect with God. It is a man boot camp cover to cover.

I have been around, like Darrin, the ultra wealthy, but grew up around the working poor. He and I realize that every man, no matter his socioeconomic status, has the same hopes, dreams, fears, and desires. The famous athlete or high-powered businessman can be just as confused as the shift worker at the local factory.

Money and success do not give us true joy. They may make us happy for a time, but lasting joy comes from something way bigger. Darrin gives answers to the questions we all have as men in a way that lacks being preachery. His openness about his own life and struggles is a great testament to how God has used him despite his past and weaknesses.

I believe males should really be men. We dont need more boys, we need real men. Strong, godly, mature men. No man is perfect and we will all fall short at times.
