Jeffre TallTrees, PhD

Jeffre is an author, workshop leader, experienced executive, and licensed psychologist with over thirty years of clinical experience specializing in relationships, human sexuality, and energy medicine. After earning a BS in nursing from UCLA, she served as a labor and delivery hospital nurse, a public health nurse, and a mental health nurse for Los Angeles Country. Jeffre received her PhD from the California School of Professional Psychology in 1977. She was continuing education and volunteer director for The Open Door drug abuse prevention project for four years. She founded a holistic health center in North Hollywood in 1977 and was program director for Cambia Way, an intermediate mental care facility, for three years. From 1980 through 1982 she was director of the Family Stress Center in Concord, California, and became active in local politics and agency funding. During that time, she was chairman of the Human Services Advisory Commission of Contra Costa County. She was acting director of mental health for Tuolumne County in 1982.

She was in private psychology practice from 1981 until 2005, specializing in marital and sexual therapy as president of Danville Psychology Associates. With a colleague, she coauthored Intimacy: A Green Light For Red Hot Sex , which was published in 1997. For ten years in the 80s and 90s, Dr. TallTrees wrote a weekly psychology advice column titled Lets Talk for four local newspapers in Contra Costa County, California. After years of membership, she became president of the Bay Area Clinical Hypnosis Society in 1994 and ran monthly meetings and conferences. Jeffre was a longtime member of AASECT, the American Association Of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, and presented at its 1997 and 1998 national conventions.

After studying with Margot Anand in 1996, she completed her sacred sexuality teacher training and served as an instructor for her year-long Love And Ecstasy Training from 1995 to 1998. She also completed the series of six Sex, Love, And Intimacy workshops hosted by the Human Awareness Institute. As cofounder of Tantra At Tahoe since 1998, she teaches workshops and counsels clients on conscious sexuality. Jeffre has coauthored three books on intimacy and Tantric sex. In 2001 Jeffre received her certification as a massage practitioner from the School of Shiatsu And Massage at Harbin Hot Springs, California. Jeffre presented the latest sexuality breakthroughs at the national Lifestyles Convention in Reno and Las Vegas 2002, 2003, and 2004. After completing his Light Body School in 2005, she served as lead teacher for Dr. Alberto Villoldos Four Winds Society, an international academy of shamanic energy medicine until 2011. In 2009 she founded SacredRainbowMesa.com through which she sees private clients and teaches energy medicine workshops. She has spoken publicly many times, been interviewed on local TV, and been quoted in newspapers. She even appeared briefly on CNN while meeting Barack Obama during his first presidential campaign. Jeffres latest presentation was to the Women Empowering Women conference in California during 2016.

Jeffre is a shaman, healer, counselor, workshop leader, artist, football fan, and avid skier living near Lake Tahoe, California with her husband Somraj and their two spaniels, Sage and Pixie.

Somraj Pokras

Somraj is an entrepreneur, published author, website designer, workshop leader, public speaker, and counselor. He received a BS in organic chemistry from the California Institute of Technology in 1968. During his masters program at the University of Southern California, he served as assistant director of the IntraScience Foundation and coordinated its first two international cancer chemotherapy conferences. He began his speaking career in 1971 by giving monthly talks for a community counseling center he cofounded with fellow students in West Los Angeles. His first of many keynote addresses was in Malm, Sweden, in 1972, where he had the rapt audience of over two hundred in stitches. He received an advanced certificate in interpersonal counseling in 1972 from the Advanced Organization of Copenhagen. In 1973 he served there as technical director overseeing all training and counseling before moving to their Los Angeles academy in 1974, where he was senior case supervisor for the counseling clinic.

He learned to apply the social expertise gained during his counseling career to the business world by teaching for New Yorkbased Effective Communication Skills Inc. from 1975 to 1977. He presented Effective Presentation Skills workshops to Bankers Trust Company, Bank of America, Wells Fargo Bank, and the FCB, Foote Cone & Belding, advertising agency.

Somrajs next career centered around the Viability Group Inc., the management training consultancy he founded in 1974, where he managed a team of consultants, trainers, and support staff. During his thirty-year career as a management consultant, he developed and presented public speaking, presentation, interviewing, management, and time management skills workshops for Bank Of America and multiple University Of California extensions. He served as training director for the Bank of California during 1976. As a keynote speaker and workshop leader for Fortune 500 companies, government departments, and public agencies around the world, Somraj designed over fifty workshops that guided over twenty thousand people to lead more effective lives. That included Skills and Tact In Dealing With People for IBM in San Jose, Palo Alto, Atlanta, New York, Tampa, Montreal, Amsterdam, and Stockholm. He wrote and taught the Systematic Problem-Solving and Decision-Making workshop for Chevron for many years which was published by Crisp Publications in 1989.

In the 1980s he presented Managing Staff for Results workshops at major universities nationwide to nonprofit executives through the Public Management Institute. During this time, he developed his unique format of how-to training guides for Viability Groups twelve core people skills programs. Over the years he designed, wrote, and published dozens of custom editions for clients. He has spoken at conferences and taught for other firms such as Westinghouse and Siemens plus government departments like the Social Security Administration, the California State Compensation Insurance Fund, the Farm Credit Administrations Production Credit Associations, and POST, the Peace Officers Standards & Training agency. He presented Public Relations and Fundraising workshops for the Public Management Institute. Somraj has taught expert witnesses from the California Public Utilities Commission how to testify in court and handle cross-examination.

He served as president of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the American Society For Training And Development in 1988. During his tenure he ran monthly professional meetings with hundreds of participants, led association conferences, and gave keynote addresses. In 1989 he designed, wrote, and conducted the week-long Team Leaders And Facilitators Bootcamp for the Council For Continuous Improvement and its member companies, including Motorola and National Semiconductor. Later he conducted train-the-trainers programs and turned nine of his trainings into print books, including Rapid Team Deployment and Working In Teams . He also designed a custom Effective Listening Skills program for Intel.

Somraj entered the sexuality field in 1997 by studying with the internationally acclaimed sexologist Margot Anand. After graduating, he served as an instructor for her year-long Love And Ecstasy Training from 1997 to 1998.
