Healthy Overnight Steel Cut Oats

Prep time: 12 minutes, cook time: 6-7 hours, ingredients: 5-6

Ingredients

  • 1 - cups frozen blueberries (or another berries on your preference)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup skimmed milk
  • 1 large banana, mashed
  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
  • Honey for serving

Directions

  1. Pour in water and milk in a slow cooker.
  2. Add mashed banana, frozen berries, and steel cut oats. Season with ground cinnamon.
  3. Cover and cook on high for about 1 hour. When timer beeps, switch to "warm" and cook overnight (for about 6-8 hours).
  4. Serve with honey or sugar.

Prep time: 10 minutes, cook time: 4-5 hours, servings: 4-6

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • cup Caesar dressing
  • cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • teaspoon ground pepper
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 4-6 regular size hamburger buns

Preparation

  1. Put chicken breasts into the slow cooker, pour 1-2 cups of water over, cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  2. Remove cooked chicken from the Crockpot, drain the water from the slow cooker.
  3. Shred the chicken using two forks and discarding any fat.
