The Author
Mohammad ("Mo") Qayoumi, PhD, PE is Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services at the University of Missouri-Rolla. A licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Management Accountant, Dr. Qayoumi has nearly 20 years of experience in facilities management.
Prior to joining the University of Missouri-Rolla, Dr. Qayoumi served both as a facilities administrator and adjunct faculty member at the University of Cincinnati and San Jose State University for 17 years. He has published more than 50 articles, a book titled Electrical Distribution & Maintenance and several chapters in various other books. In addition, he has made presentations at numerous conferences around the country and internationally. This year, Dr. Qayoumi will be serving as an examiner for the Missoui Quality Award Program.
Dr. Qayoumi holds a bachelor's degree from American University in electrical engineering, MS degrees in nuclear engineering and computer engineering, a PhD in electrical engineering and an MBA in finance from the University of Cincinnati.
