Joseph P. Kish is assistant vice president for facilities management at Northeastern Illinois University. Prior to returning to the Midwest and joining Northeastern Illinois University in 1988, he was an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, serving in positions of increasing responsibility worldwide. He completed service as a Colonel and Texas Director of Engineering and Housing at Fort Bliss.
Mr. Kish has Texas certification as a Public Works Professional, an MA degree from Michigan State University and a BS degree from Purdue University. He has served in various elected and appointed positions, both nationally and regionally, in the Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers (APPA).
