Shown is the Apple Computer Riverway Regional Sales Office in Rosemont, IL. The objective of this 55,000 sq.ft. relocation was to accommodate the rapidly growing firm with flexible space to allow for expansion and contraction within departments. The project included state-of-the-art training/conference rooms, product demonstration areas, tech labs for hardware and software development, and corporate standards for workstations and offices.
The office design allows for after-hours use by the training facility without accessing the general offices area. Each office is wired for voice data and video networking to allow for exchange and access of user information.
The progressive, fresh and spontaneous image of the space reflects this office location's clientele: educational and youth markets.

The Advisers
Editorial Adviser
Anne Fallucchi is Editor Emerita of Facilities Design & Management, the first publication expressly for corporate and institutional facility managers and executives. Prior to that, Ms. Fallucchi served as Executive Editor of Contract, now Contract Design, a sister publication, for 22 years. Both publications provided her with a solid background in interior planning and design, first from the interior designer's point of view and later from the corporate client's perspective. Throughout her career, she has spoken at numerous major conferences and seminars. As Editor-in-Chief of Facilities Design & Management, she was a forerunner in promoting the principles and practices of facilities management during its infancy yeas in the early 1980s, when it was first recognized as an important part of the corporate structure. Ms. Fallucchi remains active in the International Society of Facilities Executives (ISFE), the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and the Building Owners & Managers Institute International (BOMI). She continues to serve in an advisory capacity for a number of universities, including Cornell University and Michigan State University. Ms. Fallucchi received IFMA's Distinguished Member Award in 1984 and was elected to IFMA's College of Fellows in 1992.
