To our Parents, husbands, and children

I decided I would attempt to make them at home but didnt want to fry them. That is when this little recipe was born. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making them absolutely delicious! Elyse 3 to 4 medium sweet potatoes 3 tablespoons olive oil teaspoon salt - photo 63 to 4 medium sweet potatoes3 tablespoons olive oilteaspoon saltteaspoon black pepperteaspoon garlic salt1 tablespoon cornstarch Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with foil and set aside. Wash and peel sweet potatoes.

Cut sweet potatoes into fry-shaped slices. Put sweet potatoes in a large, resealable plastic bag and add all other ingredients to the bag. Close the bag and shake until all of the sweet potatoes are evenly coated. Pour contents of the bag onto prepared baking sheet and spread out fries evenly. Bake 40 to 45 minutes, or until browned on the outside, turning fries halfway through. Bring sauce to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes, until sugar dissolves and sauce begins to thicken. Remove from heat and cool for a few minutes. Spray the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray and place the chicken inside. Pour sauce over chicken and stir to coat chicken.

Cover and cook on high 4 hours or on low 6 to 8 hours until chicken registers internal temperature of 165 degrees F. on meat thermometer. When finished, remove chicken and place on a plate. In a small bowl, mix together cornstarch and water, and pour into the slow cooker with leftover sauce. Mix together well, place chicken back into the slow cooker, and let cook about 10 minutes on high heat, or until the sauce starts to thicken up. Just before serving, sprinkle with torn cilantro leaves and sesame seeds.
