Introduction
When you buy drinks or dishes outside, you have no idea how they are prepared or what ingredients have been combined to prepare them!
The reason is why a lot of us want to know what we eat. We want to know what makes up our favorite dishes and drinks. We want to know why they taste like that!
Hence, we have taken it upon ourselves to prepare dishes and drinks ourselve s with ingredients that we bought ourselves and in the comfort of our homes!!
DIY recipes are fun to explore, not to forget to mention that they are also economical and healthy, and this is why we have put these DIY recipes together for you to try out!!
1) Seitan Pepperoni
This is spicy, yummy and vega n . I make it quite ofte n . It takes just 2 hours and 20 minutes to prepar e .
Total Prep Time: 2 hours 20 minutes

Ingredient List:
Vital wheat gluten flour - 1 1/ 2 cups
Crushed fennel seeds - 1 1/ 2 tsp.
Mustard powder - 2 tsp.
Cayenne pepper - 1 tsp.
Black pepper - 1 tsp.
Tomato paste - 1/ 4 cup
White sugar - 1/ 2 tsp.
Liquid smoke flavoring - 2 tsp.
Nutritional yeast - 1/ 4 cup
Liquid amino acid - 2 tbsp.
Salt - 1 tsp.
Paprika - 2 tsp.
Crushed anise seeds - 1/ 2 tsp.
Garlic powder - 1 tsp.
Olive oil - 2 tbsp.
Cold water - 3/ 4 cup

Preparation:
At 325o F, let your oven heat u p .
Take a bowl and stir in the vital wheat gluten flour, sugar, nutritional yeast, cayenne pepper, anise seeds, garlic powder, mustard powder, black pepper, paprika, salt, and fennel seed s . Mix all together wel l .
Take another mixing bowl and stir in the water, liquid smoke flavoring, tomato paste, liquid amino acid, and olive oi l . Combine the wet mixture as well as the flour mixture until the dough gets completely incorporate d . Put the dough on the surface and knead it until the dough gets elasti c . Form into a lo g . Fold the log in the foi l . Twist the ends to sea l .
Place it in the oven for 90 minute s . Remove the wrap from the pepperoni and allow it to cool at room temperatur e . Put it in a containe r . Place it in the refrigerato r .
2) Flavored Baking Chips
These flavored baking chips are super yumm y . They are fun to make, and my children love the m .
Total Prep Time: 16 minutes

Ingredient List:
White chocolate morsels - 2/ 3 cup
Red food coloring - 4 drops
Raspberry extract - 1/ 4 tsp.

Preparation:
Take a ceramic bowl and heat the white chocolat e . Add the raspberry extract as well as red food colorin g . Blend until well mixe d .
Lightly grease a baking shee t . Pour the white chocolate mixture into a plastic ba g . Seal the ba g . Pipe onto baking sheet just like chip s .
Put the baking sheet in the refrigerator until the chips get firmed ( for 5 minute s ).
3) The Famous Seafood Seasoning
I love this seasonin g . My mother taught me to make i t . It takes just 15 minutes to prepar e .

Salt - 6 1/ 3 tbsp.
Dry mustard powder - 2 1/ 2 tsp.
Black pepper - 1 1/ 2 tsp.
Paprika - 1 1/ 2 tsp.
Ground allspice - 1 tsp.
Ground cardamom - 3/ 4 tsp.
Celery seeds - 3 2/ 3 tbsp.
Ground red pepper flakes - 2 1/ 2 tsp.
Ground bay leaves - 1 1/ 2 tsp.
Ground cloves - 1 tsp.
Ground ginger - 1 tsp.
Ground cinnamon - 1/ 2 tsp.

4) Pickled Grapes
These pickled grapes are fun and super deliciou s . They are great with grilled meats as well as sandwiche s .
