TABLE OF CONTENTS

Introduction

B read is a food that is made from a different variety of flour. The dough usually consists of water and flour. Bread can be baked in thousands of sizes, shapes, and textures. Forms and proportions of ingredients and flour vary, as do preparation methods.

Bread is one of the essential foods throughout history, as it is the oldest artificial type of foods, too. In reality, people have made bread from the start of farming.

A bread maker is a kitchen gadget. The tool contains a bread pan or tin with paddles, placed in the center of a multi-purpose, special oven.

The best thing about the bread-maker is its automatic processes. The tin of the machine is specific: an axle is present at the lower bottom and connects it with an electric machine or motor. A tiny metal paddle on the inside tin axle clicks. The waterproof seal protects the axle so that the bread mixture can not escape. Firstly, you put the paddle inside the pot. You weigh your ingredients with the tin moving out of stove or oven and load. In the end, select the software you want to use the electronic panel, and wait after closing the lid. If you have a lid of glass in your bread-maker, you can see what it is doing. If the cover is opaque, the imagination will have to be listened to and used. The first sounds you will hear are the motor whirling on the pump as paddle revolve, kneading the dough. Finally, the stove turns on, you can see steam in the vent. Now a few minutes later, you can start smelling the delicious scent of bread. The basic method of bread making is mostly automatic, but, usually, devices come with cookbooks to make more sophisticated dough types.

Most bread-makers have several different techniques for making a loaf of many different styles. When using various types of flour, mixing the ingredients, special loaves, white bread or whole meal can be made. On its display screen, you can see the choices that your bread maker offers (from top: simple, whole meal, French, pizza, multigrain, and bake). For special loaves of bread, at the start, you put a mix that is slightly different in the tin and choose a different method from the panel. The bread-maker will automatically manage different times for rising, baking and kneading. (French loaves will have a longer time for rising, entire loaves get further preheating, sweetbreads have longer times for rising and kneading, and crusty dark loaves of bread get extra time for baking.) Some bread makers also give 'fast-bake' (saving-energy mode). This delivers a loaf in almost half time, but you will get a performance slightly low: always not such a spectacular rise or a mix. Baking bread requires patience and time and, if you hurry it, you cannot expect flawless results.

Are bread makers easy to use?

One basic procedure is to program a bread maker:

  • Choose the bread type (basic, multigrain, whole wheat, pizza or French,).
  • Choose bake mode (baking, fast baking, sandwich, dough). That influences the mixing, kneading, rising, and baking sequences. For instance, the machine working is stopped in dough function (mode), actually without dough cooking. You open the lid at this stage, the dough is removed, and then it is taken out for croissants, pizza or anything else. (To bake these foods in oven, the bread maker will help you prepare the dough.)
  • Choose loaf size (big, medium, or tiny).
  • Pick any sort of crust.
  • Click the TIMER icon. The monitor displays the total amount of time it takes to cook and prepare the loaf
  • Click the initiate button and start counting down to a loaf that is going to be delicious!

You raise the lid very carefully, take the tin that is hot carefully out of bread maker's oven, tip the loaf out and allow it to cool down. Your loaf will be done anywhere from two to six hours but usually around three to four. Then, what you do is to wash the paddle and tin (non-sticky) which almost takes around 30 seconds to clean.

CHAPTER 1:
Main Ingredients

W hen it comes to baking, measurements are not merely a suggestion. Rather, they are a science. You have to be very careful about measuring out your ingredients. For starters, make sure that you go to a kitchen store or shop online to supply your kitchen with actual measuring tools. Make sure that you have liquid and dry measuring tools in various sizes.

The biggest mistakes that you want to avoid include:

Water

Water is the liquid component used most in bread. It is one of the essential ingredients, just as flour is.

Milk

Apart from water, milk is the second liquid product that is used the most. Milk for adding flavor. Like water, milk used in recipes for bread must be lukewarm, particularly when mixed directly with yeast.

Salt

You have to keep one basic rule in mind when applying salt keep it away from the yeast. If sugar helps ferment the yeast, the salt can destroy the fermentation.

Dont use liquid measures for dry ingredients, And vice versa

Tablespoons and teaspoons are interchangeable for liquid and dry. Cups, however, are not. If you need two cups of water, it needs to be two liquid cups. Dont believe theres a difference? Use a dry cup measure and fill it with water. Then, pour it into your liquid measuring cup. Youll quickly see that the measurement is less than exact.

Flour

Although flour is one of the most widely used ingredients in the kitchen, it is certainly one of the most bistromed. Just think about how it is indicated in almost all recipes: the generic term "flour" - if used alone - does not mean absolutely NOTHING. It would be like saying that to prepare a good broth you have to use meat: yes, but which one? You try to make a decent broth with fillet of meat! Excellent meat, for goodness sake, but completely unsuitable for any long cooking. The same is true of flours: the most suitable for a long-leavening recipe - a brioche, for example - is absolutely unsuitable for the preparation of short crust pastry. It would be much better - therefore - for those who write the recipes to distinguish the most suitable type of flour for the preparation.
