Whatever kinds of rice you have at home, it is one food that has been serving millions of people both the rich and the poor. Rice can be served any time and any day and it is very satisfying, even when there's a party, rice is commonly served.
However, rice can also be cooked uniquely, and most people might not know this, everyone has the way they prepare rice in their culture, but it is always better to experiment and try making other kinds of recipes using your rice. Instant pot rice
The instant pot rice is very easy to prepare, and knowing that everyone is always in a hurry, this recipe is perfect for quick food.
Serves:
Prep time: 40 minutes
Recipe
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 teaspoon of oil
- 1 medium-sized onion, well chopped
- 1 clove of well-chopped garlic
- 2 cups of rice
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
- 1/3 cup of dry white wine
- 3 cups of chicken broth
- 1/3 cup of grated parmesan
Direction
Using your pressure cooker, heat up your butter, add your oil and onions in it, stir it continuously for like 5 minutes. Add your garlic and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
Add your rice and salt, keep stirring until it becomes golden brown, brown your white wine in it, and let it cook until it absorbs. Then add your broth.
Close your pressure cooker and let your rice cook for another 5 minutes, then add your parmesan and your rice is ready to be served.
Vegetarian fried rice
This kind of rice is usually cooked with left over rice, and it is faster to prepare. Fried rice is always very tasty, but when you prepare it this way, it becomes even tastier.
Serves:
Prep time: 30 minutes
Recipe
- 4 tablespoons of lime juice
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of fish broth
- 1/2 tablespoon of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 6 oz of mushroom
- 2 cloves of green onions, well sliced
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 piece of ginger
- 1 slice of jalapeno chile
- 3 cups of cooked rice
- 2 big eggs
Direction
Mix your lime juice, fish broth, sugar, and soy sauce together in a bowl
Heat up a large pot, add your oil and mushroom, stir together for few minutes until it turns golden brown then pour it in a plate and keep aside.
Return the pan to fire, add the remaining oil, put your ginger, green onions, garlic, and your jalapeno chile then cook for 2 minutes. Add your rice and toss.
Add your soy sauce and mushrooms then mix properly. Your vegetarian rice is ready to be served with your egg.
Red curry salmon rice
Looking for a unique and quick way to cook your rice? Then you need to try the red curry and salmon rice. It has an amazing taste and will excite you and your family.
Serves:
Prep time: 40 minutes
Recipe
- 1 cup of rice
- 1 tablespoon of lime zest
- 1 tablespoon of lime juice
- 1 cup of finely chopped cilantro
- 1 piece of ginger
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 2 cloves of well sliced garlic
- 2 tablespoons of curry paste
- 2 cans of milk
- 2 tablespoons of fish sauce
- 1 lb. of salmon
Direction
Boil your rice properly then fold in your lime zest and cilantro.
Heat your oil in a pan, add your ginger and garlic then let it fry for about 5 minutes.
Add your curry paste and cook for another 2 minutes. Add your coconut milk and your fish sauce and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Add your salmon and cook until it is golden brown, add your lime juice and let it cook for another 3 minutes, bring down and serve.
Rice casserole and chicken

- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 well-chopped onion
- spoon of thyme
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 2 cups of rice
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- 2 cups of milk
- tablespoon of black pepper
- 2 oz of chicken broth
- 1 lb. of chicken breast
- cup of fresh peas
- cup of cheese
Direction
Heat your pot and melt your butter over mild heat. Add your onions, salt, and thyme, stir continuously while it is cooking. Cook for about 10 minutes so the onions can get soft.
