Chapter 1: Welcome to Freestyle
Freestyle is a system of eating that technically allows you to eat your favorite foods, all at the same time while effortlessly losing weight, how is that possible? Well all food has been assigned Points and depending on your personal build and goals you are allocated a certain amount of points each day. Therefore, of course the healthier foods are in fact coupled with less points, however, this in turn means you can treat yourself if you wish, as long as you dont go over your points allocation! With that said, freestyle is all about changing your eating habits in such a way that food no longer becomes an issue for you, eventually choosing the healthy option will become second nature.

That is what I like to call true growth, it Is not masking over the issue with fad diets but instead dealing with the core problem step by step with a system that allows for freedom, and allows you to effortlessly reach your goals, while showing you the incredible benefits of a healthy lifestyle that will undoubtedly stick. Freestyle isnt just another fad diet, it is about a lifestyle change that will lead to radical improvements in your life, I hope youre ready for the journey.

The Secret to Your Weight Loss Goals
You may have heard the saying, "Rome wasn't built in a day." I invite you to take a moment and consider your current lifestyle. First, you will need to be very honest with yourself. Denial will get you nowhere, especially if you have to make the changes to live a healthy life. Once you are in the correct frame of mind, consider your meals for the day.

Have you gotten any fruits or vegetables in today? How many carbohydrates would you say you consume for each meal? Do you feel you are drinking the proper amount of water to allow your body to run correctly ? If you had to second guess any of these questions, you most likely aren't making the best healthy choices for yourself. While you may be dreading the D- word, Freestyle isn't about being on a diet! The point system is to encourage you to make healthy choices. It is essential to be conscious of what you are putting into your body. With the points, you will be able to keep track of what you are eating and how much. Before we get to the main points, you are probably wondering how long you would have to stay in this program to lose weight. On social media, it seems like hundreds of people drop weight every single day.

The truth is, that doesn't happen for everyone! As humans, we are all made differently . There are several important factors that go into weight loss including gender, current weight, your age, your goal weight, your height, and your activity level. All of these factors change from person to person ! One important concept to remember is never to compare your journey to another person's. If you are trying to compare your story to one on Instagram or Snapchat, honestly, people only show the good on social media because nobody is motivated or inspired by the bad. You are on your own path! If you are looking to lose weight, remember that you did not put it on in a day. As you continue on the path with Freestyle, you will have each new day to make healthy choices for yourself.

As a rule of thumb, it takes four weeks for you to notice differences in your body, and eight more weeks for friends and family, and twelve weeks for everyone else. If this is important to you, stick to the plan, eat the right food, do the proper exercise, and you are sure to see results. We are here to help you through your entire journey. To make it as easy as possible, it is time to learn the point system!

Being Vegan or Vegetarian on Freestyle
Thanks to modern technology and research, there are newfound options when it comes to dieting. In the 90s, it was near impossible to be vegan or vegetarian. While there were choices, they were incredibly limited .

Now, there are new alternative foods so you can be a vegan/ vegetarian and still follow the Freestyle program! Research shows that being a vegetarian has great health benefits for health. These include a lower risk for cardiovascular disease, a reduced risk of cancer, lower levels of insulin resistance in type 2 diabetes, and a great way to concur obesity. A vegetable-based diet has typically higher dietary fiber and lowers saturated fat levels. On top of these benefits, vegetables also have a variety of antioxidants. Long story short, this is an excellent path to have better health and possibly a longer life. If you have no interest in giving up red meat or chicken that is OK too! On the Freestyle plan, we highly suggest more fruits and vegetables, but you can still incorporate the foods you want.
