Eating is universal thing which every being should do in order to live. The food we eat is very important in the functioning of the body systems. Therefore, the kind of diet we take, is key to our good health.
Since my college days, I struggled with my weight. The weight was so much that I had heart conditions once in a while. This became a concern for me and I had it in mind that if I didnt do something things would get out of hand. I would just stay alone with Sophie, my pet rabbit who had been given to me as a birthday present by mum.
I went to the family doctor and was given some medicines which I was told would help me. I must say that I was really disappointed when, after three months there was no improvement whatsoever. I promised myself that I will find a solution myself.
It was while on this mission that my friend Christine told me about vegan diet and that she had started the vegan lifestyle three month earlier. I had not ever thought about being a vegan in my life and this was going to be a tough call for me. Since I had Christine to walk with in this journey, I was a little motivated. I decided to give veganism a shot.
In two months, I had lost quite some weight. This was a happy moment for me because I had never lost weight again in my life. I vowed to stick on this diet. With time I had forgotten about eating animal products and veganism had become my way of life.
During one summer, I met a guy in a kitchen exhibition in New York. That is where I came to know more the benefits of instant pot. With that realization, I knew my vegan lifestyle would take a new route; a better route where all nutrients of the food cooked is retained.
As I write this book, I am a total vegan and I lost much weight. I also became an activist for animal rights. Vegan recipes made with instant pot are delicious and full of nutrients. This ensures that there are no lost nutrients lost in the process of cooking. You will also be saving the lives of innocent animals by not eating meat and other animal products.
This book has 600 vegan instant pot recipes that are savory and easy to prepare. The recipes are divided into different categories including snacks, desserts, breakfast and many more. You will see more as you go through the book.
