While there has been a rise in supporters of the Paleo Diet in recent years, it is important to recognize that many people are still against the Paleo Diet. Dietitians and anthropologists have referred to this diet as only a fad. They believe that those who follow this diet are not receiving the health benefits that are promised and it might even cause adverse effects in your health. There are many other things that ancient civilizations did in order to live healthier lives such as eating fewer calories, being more active and living shorter lifespans.
