First thing to look for in a man is attraction. Labossiere says that you will be attracted to the man. On attraction, he says that the man God has intended for you may come in an unexpected package. He may not have the exact physical characteristics that you may want in a life partner, but you will have attraction towards this man. Despite your preferences, you will find yourself attracted to this man and you will have the excitement, energy and desire when you are with him. God wants to be glorified in your relationship. He wants the best for you and He is able and willing to provide exactly what you need in a man. He may come in an unexpected package but your relationship will be powered by love and attraction.

Second trait that you should look for is his ability to love and cherish, and his inability to disrespect and mistreat. Women should watch out for consistent negative behavior in the man. This undesirable behavior may take the form of disrespect emotionally, physically and verbally. Labossiere says that this man should be willing to work on his issues, if not, he is not the man for you. Women should not look for excuses for the behavior or ignore obvious red flags.
