Many times, through adversity, it would have been excused to shelve this project and had I been on my own, I would have had no choice. Your continued encouragement and support and unwavering belief in me and this work has been and continues to be my guiding light.
With humble dedication and purposeful action, you have provided for me and our darling son in such masterful, abundant ways, running your own successful business in the name of environmental sustainability. I am in awe of how you do it, and incredibly grateful for your generosity and strength of character.
In doubtful times I think to myself, Well if this man believes in me, then I must be onto something! Your belief in me gives fuel to my fire. But most of all, I can do this type of work in the field of intimate relationships with genuine faith and reverence of the work because I have my person and I am living the depth of relationship that I encourage my clients to never lose sight of.
In my uniqueness and idiosyncratic ways, often appearing confident and able well-beyond my sensitivities and vulnerability, you see me; and in you seeing me, Ive come to love and see myself more too.

WELCOME
Soul mate love. The email was to my husband and the sender wasnt me.
I could hardly hear myself reading over the sound of my heartbeat. But I didnt need to read any more than the words in the subject box of the email to know that my marriage was about to end.
I dont know what it is that took a hold of me in this situation, that had me as though possessed, first reading on, with every declaration of love and detail to their ongoing intimacy like a twist of a knife in my heart. Then scrolling madly and searching furiously almost wanting to find more. Its as though I wanted to find more evidence to rub salt into the wound. Or perhaps I was hoping to find something to show me it wasnt real.
Disbelief quickly turned into anger, which was being fueled by sadness and the silent, lurking driver of the behavior that followed, fear.
When my husband didnt answer his phone after me calling him at least twenty times successively. I found her number. The conversation that ensued was not a high point in my career as an empowered woman of the sisterhood. And I can confidently say that the weeks, months, and years that followed were some of my lowest. I reached a place of such darkness, fear and self-loathing that I pray my journey through it and the sharing of my findings will help other women to never have to go through the same.
