Praise for Obedience over Hustle
God always prizes obedience more than sacrifice! The fear of missing out has led many into unnecessary busynesseven tearing apart marriages and families in the pursuit of the elusive more. Im thrilled for the release of Obedience over Hustle as Malinda helps alleviate the pressure to perform by reminding us that surrender triumphs over striving.

Havilah Cunnington, Bible teacher, international speaker, founder of Truth to Table ministry, and author of Stronger than the Struggle
No matter how hard you hustle, your best efforts pale in comparison to what God can do through you. But before God can work through us, He has to work in us. And thats what Obedience over Hustle is all about: making the daily commitment to choose Him, and letting God direct your path, your pace, and your purpose. The truth in these pages reinforces the drastic difference between worldly pressure and Gods peace.
Michelle Myers, founder of She Works His Way
In a world where we feel that we need to constantly go more and do more, Malindas message of grace gives us a chance to breathe and free up our souls. You will feel lighter as you read her words of wisdom and follow God with more obedience rather than simply following the hustle mentality the world pushes us to!
Kara-Kae James, author of Mom Up: Thriving with Grace in the Chaos of Motherhood and executive director of Thrive Moms
I have watched Malinda live out this message for years; she has faithfully and purposefully chosen obedience to Christ rather than the insistent demands of the world, and that choice has borne beautiful fruitincluding the words youre holding in your hands. The good news in these pages is that obedience to Jesus is the sweetest gift to our soulsits freedom rather than bondage and joy rather than despair. If you need a hope-filled reminder of why its worth it to choose Jesus over everything else, this book is for you.
Ann Swindell, author of Still Waiting: Hope for When God Doesnt Give You What You Want
Read this. Read this. Read this. Malinda comes alongside you as a big sister, holds your hand, and shows you a better way. Youll find yourself nodding, underlining, and sending fist bumps high into the air as you read her words. She makes stories from the Bible come alive in a new and fresh way. You will finish Obedience over Hustle eager to listen to Gods whispers of direction on your life and step into them.
Rebecca Smith, founder of Better Life Bags and author of A Better Life
Scripture is pretty clear about what Jesus followers are to do with his Good News. The problem is, the Gospels implications are often counterintuitive to our flesh. Malinda does an excellent job of confronting culture with the language of heaven. Her words are gentle and complete in her invitation to choose Gods abundance over the emptiness of what the world sells.
Rach Kincaid, online coach and communicator
The moment I heard the title of Malindas new book, I just knew it would serve as a balm to my soul. Obedience over Hustle did just that. Full of scripture, grace, truth, and Malindas wisdom, this book will take you into that holy space of saying yes to Gods best and no to hustle. Buckle in for a gentle ride that will guide you toward a peaceful place of work, ministry, or whatever your calling. Im personally a better woman because of Malindas important book.
Sarah Martin, speaker and author of Just RISE UP!: A Call To Make Jesus Famous

Closed Doors and Open Hands
I can still picture the hotel ballroom in Indianapolis. It was a Saturday night, the close of the conference, and scattered throughout the giant space, hundreds of women were joining in worship. Some stood at their circular tables with hands raised, others sat quietly, a few knelt on the floor. The lights had been dimmed, and from the small stage came the sounds of the husband-and-wife duo, him strumming softly on a guitar, her voice rising and falling like waves.
