Introduction
Physical fitness is paramount to health. Medical authorities agree it is impossible to be healthy without some degree of physical fitness.

However, according to the United States Centers for Disease Control, 80 percent of adult Americans do not get the recommended amount of exercise per week.
Although some countries are certainly fitter than others, people all over the world now seem to be less concerned with their health than they should be.
Why is this happening?
If we are concerned about our health, why arent we exercising enough?
Well, many people have misunderstandings around exercise and fitness, especially on what is enough or what activity can be considered an adequate amount of exercise per day.
