Since Google's Penguin update was released in April2012, SEO has been turned on its head. Creating themed content with Latent SemanticIndexing (LSI) in mind, instead of keyword focused content, is now the way forward.

How to Use This Book
This book divides into two main sections.
The first section is a complete overview of White HatSEO. White Hat SEO is the kind of SEO that Google actually approves of andwants you to carry out on your website. This is because it helps both Googleand your site visitors to better understand the content.
Since Google's Panda and Penguin updates, it really isntworth employing Black Hat or even Grey Hat techniques, unless of course youare happy going to bed in the knowledge that your site may be gone in themorning, and without warning.
The second section of this book tries to help you identifyareas on your site that are causing you ranking problems, or even a penalty. The comprehensive checklist will take you through a number of tests that youcan carry out on your own site(s). These tests make sure you're not venturingover to the dark side.
The checklist has 10 main sections, each one looking at adifferent aspect of your website. If your site has been struggling to rank, orhas dropped back in the rankings, the idea is to work your way through all 10sections, correcting issues as you go.
Each section will tell you what you need to be looking outfor as well as the theory behind why you need to make these checks. Eachchapter ends with a bulleted checklist that you can tick off as you goalong.
