Baileys Martini: Mix 2 ounces Baileys Original Irish Cream liqueur, .25 ounces Baileys with a Hint of Coffee, and .25 ounces Smirnoff No. 21 vodka into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into martini glass. Makes 1 cocktail.

Crown Royal Apple Cider: Combine 1.5 ounces Crown Royal Maple Finished whisky, teaspoon honey, and 3 ounces hot apple cider. Pour into a heatproof mug and garnish with a cinnamon stick. Makes 1 cocktail.

Steaming: Place artichokes in a steamer basket above 1 inch of water. Cover and steam for 20 to 25 minutes or until petals near the center pull out easily

Boiling: Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil and add artichokes. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 20 to 30 minutes until petals near the center pull out easily
