Instructions:

1. First preheat your oven to 350 degrees. While your oven is heating up grease two medium sized cake pans with a generous amount of cooking spray. Then line the bottom of these cake pans with a sheet of parchment paper.

2. Then use a large sized bowl and add in your granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, bakers style baking powder and dash of salt. Stir thoroughly to combine. Pour this mixture into a stand mixer and attach a paddle attachment.

3. Then use a separate medium sized bowl and add in your canola oil, egg whites, pure vanilla and whole milk. Whisk thoroughly to combine. Pour this mixture into your dry ingredients. Stir thoroughly until evenly combined.

4. Divide your batter between both of your cake pan and place into your oven to bake for the next 35 to 40 minutes or until the center of your cake is fully baked through.

5. Remove and allow to cool for the next 5 to 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving platter. Allow to cool completely before decorating. Enjoy!

4. Add your butter into a small sized bowl and beat with an electric mixer on the highest setting until creamy in consistency. Add to your sugar mixture and beat again until creamy in consistency.

5. Add in your milk mixture to your butter mixture and stir until thoroughly combined. Pour this batter evenly among your greased cake pans.

6. Place into your oven to bake at 350 degrees for the next 25 to 27 minutes or until completely baked through. Remove after this time and allow to cool for at least 5 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate. Cover with a sheet of plastic wrap and allow to cool completely.

7. While your cake is cooling make your frosting. To do this place your butter and powdered sugar into a medium sized bowl. Use an electric mixer and beat on the highest setting for the next 3 minutes.
