These are emotional, psychological, social, physical, and spiritual. These things also can bring different effects to human lives and depend upon the degree of relevance to them. Firstly, happiness. This refers to good memories. This brings joy, ecstatic feeling and delightful experiences. Marriage, birthday celebration, academic achievement, job promotion, and etc., are some examples of happiness.

Secondly, sorrow. This refers to bad memories. This brings sadness, distress, regret, burden, and torment. These are death of a family member, embarrassing moments, loss of loved ones, loss of opportunities and etc. Whatever these experiences may be, what matters most is the way on how people cope up with the changes in life. Whether these are good or bad memories, dealing with the problems and stresses in life is the most important.

Some people didnt seem to notice how beautiful life is. They ended with giving up, losing hope, and are afraid to take risks again. They need to trust themselves and see another perspective in life. In this case, they will realize that everything happens for a reason and can bring life lessons. Among these worries, stress and depression are the alarming ones. These can damage ones mentality, and if action is not taken immediately, these can destroy ones life.

Taking care of ones self is the most important thing. Health is wealth as what some adage said. We also differ on how we take care of ourselves. Some of us eat nutritious foods, having a regular exercise, taking eight hours of sleep every day, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and having a regular diet. Among those things mentioned above, a regular diet is the most common among people. Some would prefer this method for the reason that they can save time in going to the gym and save money in buying an abundant meal.

Also, there are people who would not prefer this method. Their reasons are: inconsistency in observing and doing a proper diet; cravings to sweets are uncontrollable; and many others. But some nutritionists would prefer the proper diet with a regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle. These three things should work together to achieve a great success in maintaining a healthy living.

WHAT IS A KETOGENIC DIET?
A Ketogenic Diet also known as a keto diet, low carb diet, or low carb high fat diet uses ketones that are produced in the liver and is necessary for the consumption of energy needed in the body. In some meals like eating foods high in carbs, glucose and insulin are produced in the body.

Glucose is a molecule that the body uses to convert and use energy. It is the most common energy source. Insulin is used in the processing of glucose in the bloodstream by taking it all over the body. This diet is known as a higher carbohydrate diet. In this case, glucose is used as the primary source of energy and therefore, fats are not needed but these are stored. In a ketogenic diet, the body will be brought to the state of ketosis .

In this condition, ketones are produced coming from the breaking down of fats in the liver. The primary mechanism of this diet is to force your body into a ketosis metabolic state. It is an opposite of higher carbohydrate diet for this method does not employs the starvation of calories but the starvation of carbohydrates. Practicing your body with the overloading of fats and taking away of carbohydrates, will begin to burn ketones as the main source of energy. Having an ideal ketone levels in the body will offer many health, physical, mental and emotional benefits.


MECHANISM OF KETOGENIC DIET
Foods high in carbohydrates are the bodys primary source of energy.

But when its consumption is minimized, the body adjusts as if it is fasting. Due to this reaction, new pathways for energy are created and provides energy for the cells. Ketogenesis is a product to this reaction and is an alternative source of energy called a ketone body. These ketone bodies are used by almost cells in the body for fuel, but sugar and ketones can move the body in many different results. The reactive oxygen species are formed when there is burning of sugar for fuel. These elements can lead to damage, inflammation, and cell death through accumulation.

This is the reason why, too much consumption of sugar in the body will result to brain malfunction and plaque buildup. On the other hand, the use of ketones as the primary source of fuel in the body will help protect the neuron cells in the brain and enhances the mitochondrial function and production within a cell. Autophagy, a cellular process is activated when there is a carbohydrate restriction. Thus, it helps the dying cell to regenerate its form and function more efficiently. This is the reason why, ketogenic diet is advisable to people with migraines, Alzheimers disease, and epilepsy. In general, the remarkable benefits of ketogenic diet underlie in these mechanisms: Sugars like glucose are not easily burned than ketones.

Carbohydrate restriction promotes anti-inflammatory processes. Reactive oxygen species are minimized by burning of ketones and its used as a body fuel. Mitochondrial function and production within the cell is greatly enhanced by Ketone usage. Insulin level decreases Fat burning increases Inflammations are reduced through the help of reactive oxygen species.
