Tofu Sandwich
Sandwich with tofu, mustard sauce and oregano! Serves: Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 5 minutes Ingredients:
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 cup extra firm tofu, grated
- 1 tablespoon mustard sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano, ground
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method: 1.
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl except bread. Mix well and spread the prepared mix between the two slices of bread. 2. Make two sandwiches and grill until golden-brown and slightly crisp. 3. Serve!
Tofu Pancakes.
Tofu pancakes with soya milk and honey! Servings: Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 5 minutes Ingredients:
- 1 cup silken tofu, mashed
- 1 cup soy milk
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 teaspoons butter
- Honey for topping
Method: 1.
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl except butter. Mix well and keep aside. 2. Melt butter 1/2 teaspoon in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour in 1/6 portion of prepared mix and cook both side until golden-brown. 3.
Make 6 pancakes and place them in a serving platter. Drizzle honey on the top. 4. Serve!
Tofu Muffin
Tofu pancakes with soya milk and almonds! Servings: Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 5 minutes Ingredients:
- 1 cup silken tofu, mashed
- 1 cup soy milk
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Handful of almonds, roughly chopped
- 3 teaspoons butter
- Honey for topping
Method: 1. Preheat the oven to 350F. 2.
Lightly grease a 6 mold muffin tin with olive oil spray. 3. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. 4. Then, pour the mixture in to the prepared muffin tray. 5.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until tooth inserted in the center comes out clean. 6. Once done, remove the tray from oven and let it cool down for 5-10 minutes. 7. Serve warm!
Tofu Fajita
Firm tofu cooked with onion and bell peppers! Servings: Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Ingredients:
- 1/4 pound firm tofu, diced
- 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 medium white onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium yellow bell pepper, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
Method: 1. Heat in a non-stick skillet over medium flame.
Add in all the ingredients except tofu. Cover the pan with a lid and let it simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. 2. Then, add in tofu and cook over high for 5 minutes while stirring constantly. 3. 4. 4.

Tofu Curry
Firm tofu dipped in onion and tomato sauce with curry powder! Servings: Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 30 minutes Ingredients:
- 1/4 pound firm tofu, diced
- 1 small, finely chopped
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 2 teaspoons garlic-ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method: 1. Heat oil in a deep and large non-stick pan on the medium-high head. Stir in onion and saut until golden-brown. Add in garlic and ginger paste. Cook for few minutes. 2.
Then, add in tomato puree and cook until all the ingredients turn into thick gravy. 3. Now, add in rest of the ingredients and 1/2 quart water. 4. Cover the pan with a lid and let it simmer over low for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. 5.
