• Ounces champagne
• ounce lemon juice
• Ice

Gabrielle loves coffee! She is often seen drinking out of a big glass. Here is a simple coffee recipe to try out! Serving size: Cooking time: 10 minutes Ingredients:

• 3 tablespoons hot water
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 2 teaspoons instant coffee
• 1/2 cup hot milk
• cup cold milk

Instructions: 1. Add the sugar and coffee to a glass followed by the water and mix. 2. Add the hot milk and mix. 3.

Beat the cold milk using a beater to make the top frothy. 4. Once frothy, add to the glass. 5. Serve hot.

Beer

Bree develops a drinking problem and starts drinking straight out of bottles. Her go-to drink would be beer. Serving size: Cooking time: 3 minutes Ingredients:

• 1-ounce orange juice
• 2 ounces bourbon
• 2 ounces bitters
• 1 teaspoon honey
• 24 ounces beer
• Orange twists
• Ice

Instructions: 1. Add the bitters, honey, bourbon, lemon juice and ice to a shaker and shake. 2. 3. 3.

Serve cold.

4. Sangria

Gabrielle is often seen toasting with wine. Here is a cocktail she would approve! Serving size: Cooking time: 10 minutes Ingredients:

• cup brandy
• 1 apple, chopped
• 2 bottles red wine
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 2 lemons sliced
• 1 cup ginger ale

Instructions: 1. Add the brandy, ginger ale, apples, lemon and cinnamon stick to a pitcher and mix till combined. 2.

Pour the wine and refrigerate till ready to serve.

5. Eggnog

Lee tells Bree that he just ran a marathon and now has to drink eggnog. She tells him its like mayonnaise with rum in it. Serving size: Cooking time: 10 minutes Ingredients:

• 1 cup cream
• 4 eggs, separated
• 4 ounces bourbon
• 2 cups milk
• 1 teaspoon nutmeg powder
• cup sugar

Add the sugar one tablespoon at a time and combine. 3. Add the cream, milk, nutmeg and bourbon and mix till combined. 4. Add the egg whites and mix. 5.

Chill in the fridge for an hour. 6. Serve cold.

Chapter 2: Starters and Main Course

6. Waldorf Salad

Katherine makes a modern version of the Waldorf salad that turns Bree jealous. A modern take on the original, you will find this salad quite delightful.

Serving size: Cooking time: 20 minutes Ingredients:

• cup yogurt
• cup mayonnaise
• 1 tablespoon orange peel, chopped
• 2 tablespoons orange juice
• 1 whole Romaine lettuce
• 1 grapefruit
• 1 pear, chopped
• 1 cup grapes, halved
• cup dates, chopped
• cup walnuts, chopped
• 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

Instructions: 1. Add the yogurt, orange juice, seasoning, mayonnaise and orange peel to a small bowl and mix till combined. 2. Place in the fridge for half an hour. 3. 4. 4.
