Imagine that being lucky enough to have uber-chef, Sookie bribe you with muffins! Thats exactly what happens when Sookie arrives at Lorelais with a basket of apple muffins as an incentive for Lorelai to babysit her little ones. We would definitely take that bribe. We might even keep an eye on the twins.

- 2 cups flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. allspice
- tsp. salt
- cup apple juice
- cup milk
- 3 tbsp. canola oil
- 1 egg
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- cup chopped walnuts
Directions:
1. Heat the oven to 400 degrees.
2. Lightly butter the cups of a 12-cup muffin pan.
3. Stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder, allspice, and salt in a bowl.
4. In a second bowl, combine the apple juice, milk, canola oil, and egg.
5. Add the flour mixture to the wet mixture and stir to combine.
6. Add the apples.
7. Transfer the batter to the muffin cups but leave some room at the top.
8. Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on top of the muffins.
9. Top with chopped walnuts
10. Bake for 20 minutes.
Rorys first serious crush is Dean. Young love is indeed beautiful. As a gesture, she wants to give him his favorite Rocky Road cookies. Of course, Rory doesnt bake. So, she asks Sookie for help. Dean loves those cookies (although Rory never tells who really baked them).

- cup butter
- cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- cup brown sugar
- cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cups baking flour
- Dash of salt
- package instant chocolate pudding
48 miniature marshmallows
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
2. Stir together the butter and cocoa powder in a small pan.
3. Combine the melted butter/cocoa, chocolate chips, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
4. In another bowl, stir together the flour, salt, and instant chocolate pudding.
5. Stir the flour into the butter mixture.
6. Use a teaspoon to drop the dough onto a baking sheet.
7. Bake for 8 minutes.
8. Press miniature marshmallows onto the cookies. They will melt into the cookies.
Sookies omelets are fluffy little clouds. No one cooks like her. So, can you imagine the shock when she prepares a special omelet for Michel and he turns her down! No one, but no one, turns down food prepared by Sookie. Michel will regret this.

- 3 beaten eggs.
- 2 tbsp. milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 3 tbsp. goat cheese
- 3 tbsp. crumbled fried bacon
- 1 tsp. cognac
Directions:
1. Combine the eggs and milk and season with salt and pepper.
2. Heat the butter in a skillet.
3. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet.
4. Dont scramble the eggs but push at the edges until the eggs set, 5 minutes.
5. Add the goat cheese, bacon and cognac to a side of the omelet and fold the other side over.
6. Cook for 1 minute and transfer the omelet to a plate.
Theres a fire at the inn and no way to provide the guests with breakfast. But that cannot stop Sookie; she directs everyone to Lukes Diner, where she waves Luke aside and takes over the kitchen. Luke, who knows better than to mess with Sookie, simply resigns himself having no kitchen of his own for a while. While the guests are inconvenienced, Sookie cheers them up with some delicious French toast. We hope she has some of her peach sauce handy. We also hope Luke gets his kitchen back.

- 3 tbsp. butter or more if needed
- cup confectioners sugar
