THE EVERYTHING Series
Dear Reader,
My first encounter with hypnosis wa s twent y years ago, when I was hired to play piano for a stage show. As the hypnotist and I discussed the evening, I began to feel some kind of strange pull the room started to swirl around me, and I focused hard, trying to resist. I had to learn what this hidden magic was! That quest has consumed my life ever since.
Shortly after the stage show, I began to read ever y book on hypnosis that I could find. I began to practice self-hypnosis for stress control, establishing a daily routine. I used to be a very intense person, described as having different shades of anger from ver y mad to moderately mad, but never happy. After practicing self-hypnosis, my mental attitude began to change.
In 1989 I was hit by a car. As I lay injured, I automatically entered a calming hypnotic trance. Since then I have used hypnosis on myself for better health, weight loss, stress reduction, and even eye surger y. Hypnosis is still magic to me.
It is my hope that in this book you will discover some of the magic of hypnosis.
