Victoria

1. Victoria was born on the 17 th of April, 1974.
2. She was christened Victoria Caroline Adams.
3. Victoria attended the Jason Theatre School in Hertfordshire.
4. In 1991, she joined Laine Theatre Arts college to study dance and modelling.
5. Two years later in March 1993, Victoria replied to an ad in The Stage looking for girls who were street smart, extrovert, ambitious and able to sing and dance.
6. In 1995 Victoria began a brief relationship with actor Corey Haim.
7. She first met husband-to-be David at a charity football match in 1997.
8. In 1998, the couple announced they were expecting their first child - later to be named Brooklyn Joseph Beckham.
9. On the 4 th of July 1999, Victoria married David at Luttrellstown Castle, just outside of Dublin. Her dress was designed by Vera Wang.
10. In 2000, Victoria filmed a documentary which aired in the UK on channel 4 called Victorias Secrets . She was followed by cameras whilst discussing and interviewing other British celebrities, one being Elton John.
11. In 2006, the couple hosted a World Cup Party which aimed to raise money for charity. Two tickets were auctioned off and raised an amazing 103,000!
12. Victoria and David currently have four children together: Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James, Cruz David and Harper Seven.
13. During an interview with Vogue In 2011 (and after years of speculation) Victoria finally admitted to having a boob job - although when questioned further she refused to comment.
14. At the launch of the 2012 musical Viva Forever , there was controversy over the fact that Victoria sat away from - and was photographed separately from the other girls. However this wasnt strictly true - Victoria just wanted to enjoy the night with her family who all came along.

Geri Halliwell

1. Geris full name is Geraldine Estelle Halliwell.
2. She was born on the 6 th of August 1972.
3. Geris dad was the grand old age of fifty when she was born!
4. Geri is known as Ginger Spice - obviously for her hair colour at the time.
5. She was born and grew up on a council estate in Watford, England.
6. Before joining the Spice Girls, Geri had an interesting time on the road to fame. She was a nightclub dancer in Majorca and amazingly a presenter on a Turkish game show.
7. Some fans were particularly excited to find out that Geri had also been a nude model... and some of the pictures were published in gentlemans magazines.
8. Geri had decent success as a solo artiste, with number ones such as Look at Me , Bag it Up , Mi Chico Latino and Lift Me Up .
9. She is also an author - not only publishing an autobiography but also writing a series of books for children in her Ugenia Lavender series.
10. Geri has a daughter called Bluebell Madonna Halliwell.
11. In the lead-up to the 1997 British elections, Geri made a comment that she respected controversial ex-prime minister Margaret Thatcher, and that she was the first Spice Girl. This led to another singer (and obvious leftie) named Lauren Laverne calling Geri Tory Scum.
12. When Geri was young, her mother became a Jehovahs Witness. The strict rules of this religious sect meant that Geri could never celebrate her Birthday or even Christmas!
13. Along with other famous names such as Carl Lewis and Patrick Vieira, Geri has been a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations.
14. Geri had actually met fellow Spice Girl Victoria before the group formed - when they both auditioned for parts in the film Tank Girl.
15. In an interview on The Clive James Show , Mel B told the world that Geri had hairy legs!

Mel B

1. Mels full name is Melanie Janine Brown.
2. She was born on the 29 th of May, 1975.
3. Mel is known as Scary Spice due to her supposed in your face attitude and demeanour.
4. Mel was born and grew up in Leeds in Yorkshire, England.
5. When she was young, Mel always knew she wanted to be in the entertainment business. Her first steps on the road to fame were attending Intake High School to study performing arts.
6. Her first opportunity in showbusiness came as a dancer in the British holiday resort of Blackpool.
7. Like the other girls in the band, Mel answered an advert in a newspaper to gain her audition - and the rest is of course history!
8. For her audition, Mel sang the Whitney Houston hit The Greatest Love of All .
9. Melanie has three children with three fathers - Phoenix Chi (with backing dancer Jimmy Gulzar), Angel Iris (with film legend Eddie Murphy) and finally Madison (with movie producer Stephen Belafonte).
10. Just like Emma Bunton, Mel B had also appeared on TV prior to the Spice Girls - she had a brief appearance in the long-running soap Coronation Street.
11. And amazingly, also like Emma, Mel has been in a dancing-based reality TV show - but as a contestant. She came second in the 2007 US Series of Dancing with the Stars.
12. She did get her chance as a judge five years later on the UKs X Factor . She was booed by the audience on her first day.
13. After she had her second child, Mel got herself toned up and released a fitness DVD called Total Body.
14. Mel was voted Spectacle Wearer of the Year in 1997.
15. Despite being lampooned and parodied on comedy show Bo Selecta by Leigh Francis, Mel actually appeared in a few episodes as herself!

Emma Bunton

1. Emmas full name is Emma Lee Bunton.
2. She was born on the 21 st of January, 1976.
3. Emma is known as Baby Spice because she is the youngest of all of the Spice Girls.
4. Emma was born in Finchley in London, England and grew up in Barnet, also in London.
5. Emmas father was a milkman and her mother a karate instructor!
6. Before joining the Spice Girls, Emma had played very minor roles in TV Shows including Eastenders and The Bill.
7. Possibly her most interesting acting role was as the Milky Bar Kids girlfriend in the TV commercials!
