Assembling salads in a jar is very easy.Just remember these rules: Wet ingredients go at the bottom(dressing, tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries) Moisture resistant ingredients gonext (e.g. chicken pieces, carrot, beet cubes, cooked lentils or green peas, broccoli) Next are smart carbs like cookedquinoa, buckwheat, brown rice, cooked sweet potato or pumpkin cubes. Next are non-water resistantproteins like boiled eggs, cheese, tuna or salmon pieces Last are dry ingredients like watercress, spinach or any leafy veggies, avocado, seeds or nuts.

If you dont tip the jar, your ingredientswill arrive in perfect shape. You can store such salads for few days in thefridge. When youre ready to serve, either shake the jar and serve or open andjust pour it on the plate. Greens that were on top will end up serving as a bedfor the salad and dressing will cover ingredients.
