Chapter 1: Easy Brussel Sprouts Recipes
How to Braise Brussel Sprouts
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Brussels sprout
- 4 -6 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 -4 garlic cloves, minced
- lemon juice
- salt
- white pepper
Directions
- Discard the brown leaves of the brussels sprouts. Slice them in half.
- Place a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Heat in it the oil.
- Cook in it the brussels sprouts for 8 to 10 min until they become golden brown while stirring.
- Stir in the garlic and cook them for one minute.
- Add the lemon juice with a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss them to coat and serve them warm.
- Enjoy.

Red Bell Brussel Sprouts
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. Brussels sprouts , trimmed
- 2 red bell peppers , seeded, sliced
- onions , sliced
- garlic cloves, minced
- 6 tbsp butter
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Directions
- Use a sharp knife to make a cut in the shape of X in the bottom of each brussels sprout.
- Place a large skillet over medium heat. Heat in it the butter.
- Cook in it the garlic with pepper and onion for 4 min.
- Stir in the brussels sprouts with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook them for 4 to 6 min.
- Stir in the lemon rind then serve them warm.
- Enjoy.

Lovers Brussel Sprouts
Ingredients
- 15 Brussels sprouts halved lengthwise
- 1 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic , smashed with the flat of a knife
- grated parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Place a large pan over medium heat. Heat in the oil with butter.
- Lower the heat and add the garlic. Fry it for 1 to 2 min until it becomes brown.
- Drain it and discard it. Stir in the brussels sprouts and cook them for 12 to 16 min until they become soft.
- Season them with a pinch of salt and pepper. Garnish them with parmesan cheese then serve them warm.
- Enjoy.
