Introduction
Everything tastes better with a great dip. Whether its vegetables, crackers, fruit, or bread, a dip can turn a simple food into a tasty delight. This Special Dip Recipes Cookbook shows the many ways dips can be prepared and served.

Mexican Heat
Beef Queso Dip
This hearty dip can be served hot with tortillas chips or spread on a flour tortilla.
Cooking Time: 2 hours 10 minutes
Servings: 12
Ingredients:
2 cups Rotel tomatoes
lb. cubed Velveeta
lb. cubed sharp cheddar
lb. ground beef
cup sour cream
4 oz. cream cheese
cup diced scallions
cup sliced black olives
1 tbsp. taco seasoning or to taste
1 diced and seeded green chili optional heat
2 cups prepared chili homemade preferred
Directions:
Place the ingredients except the chili in a slow cooker.
Cook on high for 2 hours.
Stir in the chili and cook another 10 minutes.
Fiesta Bean Dip
Great with Nacho chips.
Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
Directions:
Add the ingredients to a small pan and simmer for 10 minutes while frequently stirring.
Mexican Dip
When you need some heat this is it.
Cooking Time: 0
Servings: 8
Ingredients:
2 cups corn
2 chopped green bell peppers
3 tbsp. diced green chilis
Salt and pepper to taste
tsp. garlic salt
cup sour cream
cup mayonnaise
cup shredded cheddar cheese
3 tbsp. chopped scallions
1 tbsp. taco seasoning optional added heat
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and refrigerate.
Mexican Dip II
Use sturdy crackers or chips for this wonderful dip.
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 8 cups
Ingredients:
Directions:
Brown the ground beef in a skillet for 5 minutes.
Combine the ground beef, refried beans and enchilada sauce in a bowl.
Place the mixture in the bottom of a 9 x 13 dish.
Combine the sour cream, whipped cream cheese, and fajita seasoning.
Top the beef/refried beans mixture with the sour cream.
Top with green chilis, cheddar cheese, diced tomato, scallions, and black olives.
Refried Beans Dip
This dip is best served with some corn chips. This mixture can also be used to make burritos.
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 6
Ingredients:
2 tbsp. bacon grease (save some when you prepare bacon it makes a difference in the taste)
2 tbsp. chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
2 (15 oz.) canned pinto beans with liquid reserved
1 tsp. chili powder
tsp. cumin
1 tbsp. taco sauce
1 tbsp. ranch dressing seasoning mix
1 tbsp. lime juice
Salt to taste
Directions:
Heat the bacon fat in a skillet.
Saut the onion and garlic for 5 minutes.
Stir in the remaining ingredients, along with cup of the bean liquid (or as needed), and simmer for 10 minutes.
Use a potato masher to mash the mixture.
Everyday Dips
Green Goddess Dip
This dip is filled with herbs and is perfect for vegetables. It also makes a great dip for shrimp.
