Introduction
Whether you love salmon, tuna, or tilapia, we know theres a place in your heart for all sorts of seafood. We can see it in your gills - uh, we mean face! That means were extra excited youre here because it means youll be of big help when it comes to preparing these recipes! Theres just something about cooking things you like that automatically makes them taste better, right? So hop in because the ship has sailed, and were fast on our way to being in the middle of the ocean, and while we cant help thinking of the Titanic, were excited to see what kinds of sea creatures we encounter. Fortunately for you, no ones going to be fishing or diving for food today because we made sure to bring everything we needed on board, and right now, its sitting in the fridge and freezer, so lets start by opening it up and seeing what weve got to work with.
Tuna, shrimp, cod, salmon, tilapia, mackerel, and halibut, hey, thats an amazing assortment! We have so many ideas for recipes with those ingredients but before we get carried away any further, lets start with these ones. Theyre easy and quick but still very delicious. Even if were at sea, who really has time to spend hours and hours in the kitchen for every meal? Not us! And were feeding the entire crew, which means weve got to be quick on our feet and efficient when it comes to our cooking times if we want to keep everyone well fed and happy; otherwise, they may just throw us overboard
To get you started on this seafood journey, weve broken down the cookbook into three sections. In chapter one, we want to ease you into the whole thing with some easy recipes like cod and beans, tilapia with veggies, and halibut with bell peppers. In chapter two, well begin to challenge you a bit more with dishes like noodles with tuna, black beans and salmon, and tilapia with broccoli. Finally, by chapter three, well let you go all-in with chickpeas and shrimp, tuna with squash, and mushrooms with shrimp. But before you get too excited, we need you to chop everything up so we can get started. Good luck!
