In simple term chaffle is a waffle made up of cheese and eggs. Chaffles made up with cheese and eggs are taste like regular waffles.
The simplest definition of a chaffle is a low-carb waffle with cheese and egg as main ingredient.
Instead of just adding flour, different cheeses like mozzarella, cheddar, and Colby jack are used in chaffles to give it texture and shape life waffles.
In modern era chaffles are popular on low-carb and keto diet because they have taste like waffles.
Cheese, eggs, vanilla, coffee, cocoa powder, cinnamon powder, almond flour, coconut flour and keto friendly sweetener stevia are used in sweet chaffles.
In savory chaffles cheeses like cheddar or jack are commonly mixed Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pizza sauce, sesame seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, flax seeds, bagel seasoning in savory chaffles.
Some vegetables like zucchini, spinach, cauliflower, broccoli, parsley, pumpkin spices are also used in savory lunch chaffles.
Chaffles are a keto-friendly snacks. Cheese is the base ingredient so they are low in carbohydrates and high in fat.

DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat your waffle maker as per manufacturer instructions.
  1. Grease waffle machine with cooking spray.
  1. Beat egg with cheese in small mixing bowl.
  1. Spoon the chaffles batter in preheated waffle maker close the lid.

INGREDIENTS
2 large eggs
1/4 cup almond flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Cooking spray
cup cranberry puree
cranberries for topping
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat your waffle maker according to manufacture instructions and grease with cooking spray.
  1. Crack eggs in bowl and beat with almond flour and baking powder in mixing bowl.

  1. Sprinkle half of cheese batter in waffle machine and pour half of egg batter over it.
  1. Close chaffle machine and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  1. Once cooked remove from maker.
  1. Repeat with remaining batter
  1. Pour cranberry puree and cranberries over it.
  1. Serve with keto coffee and enjoy!
