Why dwell on your usual boring combination of sandwich when you can easily make a different kind of sandwich by using this cookbook as a guide. Life is too short for you to continuously eat the same type of sandwich. Therefore, for you to move away from a very boring sandwich, these are 30 exciting sandwiches you can try.
1. Salmon and creamy salad sandwich
This is different from putting together some veggies on your bread, having salmon in your sandwich and creamy salad makes it very interesting to chew on.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients
10 oz salmon, canned
1/2 cup of plain yogurt
2 small green onions, well diced
1/2 cup of well chopped celery
2 teaspoons of lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
8 slices of bread
1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
Directions
Drain your canned salmon and cut into pieces in a bowl, add your yogurt, onions, celery, and lemon juice together with the salmon and stir properly.
Rub your mayonnaise on each side of your bread slices, spread your salmon mixture on the side where you rubbed the mayonnaise, then sprinkle your pepper on it to taste and cover with another bread slice.
Do the same until you exhaust your bread and serve your delicious sandwich.
2. Spicy turkey sandwich
Turkey sandwich with your hot sauce gives you that spicy taste and your kids will be glad to have this in their lunch box.
Prep time: 15 minutes
Serves: 3
Ingredients
5 ounces of ground turkey
2 cups of French fried onions, canned
1 medium sized egg
1/2 cup of water chestnuts, well sliced
1/2 cup of breadcrumbs, dry
2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon of hot sauce
2 tablespoons of well grated fresh ginger
3 roll of sandwich buns
1/2 cup of shredded lettuce
Directions
Mix your ground turkey, half of your fried onions, egg, chestnuts, teriyaki, ginger, hot sauce, and breadcrumbs together in a bowl, make sure it is properly combined.
Shape them into 3 patties and grill lightly in your oven for like 10 minutes, ensure it becomes golden brown, and then remove.
Get your sandwich buns, put the patties inside, sprinkle with your reserved onions, cover and serve.
3. Bacon and avocado sandwich
The mixture of avocado gives this sandwich a unique taste.
Prep time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients
1/2 pound of bacon, sliced and chopped
1 ball of ripe avocado
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
3 tablespoons of melted butter
4 big slices of wheat bread
1 tablespoon of parsley
1 tablespoon of lemon zest
1/2 cup of oil
Directions
Heat up your oil in a pan, dip your bacon in the hot oil and simmer for 10 minutes or until it becomes crispy. Remove from oil and drain on your paper towel.
Peel your avocado, cut into two, remove the seed, put the flesh in a bowl and mash it properly. Add your lemon juice, salt and pepper combine properly and set aside.
Butter one side of each bread slice, spread your avocado mixture on the buttered side, spread your fried bacon on the avocado, then cover with the other buttered bread slice, press them down, cut off the side of the bread, cut your sandwich into a triangular form and serve with your parsley and lemon zest sprinkled on it.
4. Baked beer and beef sandwich
The combination of beer and beef with a taste of garlic is what makes this sandwich unique.
Prep time: 25 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients
2 pounds of ground beef
1 teaspoon of pepper
2 teaspoons of Tabasco sauce
1 clove of crushed garlic
1/2 cup of chili sauce
1/2 cup of dried onion soup mix
1/2 cup of beer
4 burger buns
Directions
Preheat your oven to about 400. Mix your beef, pepper, Tabasco, chili, garlic, onion soup, and part of your beer together in a bowl until it becomes thick.
Shape them into 4 different patties, put in your baking pan and bake until it becomes golden brown or bake for 10 minutes.
