Instructions:
- Melt the butter and put it in a roasting pan.
- Place in the chicken thighs and the garlic cloves around the chicken.
- Sprinkle over the maple syrup, salt and pepper.
- Preheat your oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Put the chicken thighs to bake in preheated oven for an hour or until the chicken is cooked.
- Serve!

- Dry onion soup mix- 1 packet
- Apricot nectar- 14 ounces
- Apricot halves- 14 ounces

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Mix together the dry onion soup mix and the apricot nectar.
- Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour over the soup mixture on them.
- Put the dish to bake in preheated oven for 55 minutes or until the chicken is done.
- Put the apricot halves and serve!

This chicken curry is one of the most traditional foods of the South African cuisin e . It is a simple chicken curry with a few spices which is served with yellow ric e .

- Sunflower oil- 2 Tbsp.
- Chopped onion- 1
- Garlic cloves crushed- 4
- Grated ginger- 4 Tbsp.
- Cloves- 5
- Turmeric- 2 tsp.
- Ground white pepper- 1 tsp.
- Coriander 1 tsp.
- Cumin- 1 tsp.
- Cardamom pods-8
- Cinnamon stick- 1
- Red chili halved-1
- Chopped tomatoes- 400 grams
- Mango chutney- 2 Tbsp.
- Chicken stock cube- 1
- Chicken thighs- 12
- Chunked potato- 500 grams
- Chopped coriander- 2 Tbsp.
- Butter- 50 grams
- Basmati rice- 350 grams
- Raisins- 50 grams
- Caster sugar- 1 tsp.
- Turmeric- 1 tsp.
- White pepper- 1/4th tsp.
- Cinnamon stick in half- 1
- Cardamom pods crushed- 8

Instructions:
- In a pan heat oil and fry the onions until they are soft. Now add the garlic, ginger and the cloves and fry more.
- Now add the turmeric, white pepper, cumin, coriander, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick and the red chili and fry more.
- Now add the canned tomatoes and 2 cups of water, mango chutney and the chicken cube.
- Now add the chicken thighs in the liquid and let them cook for about 30 minutes. Now add in the potatoes and cook for 15 more minutes.
- Add the coriander.
- For the rice, take a pot, add in the butter, rice, raisins, sugar, cinnamon, caster sugar, turmeric, water and salt. Bring to boil, stir and then let cook for a few minutes.
- Cover the pot with a lid until the rice has cooked perfectly.
- Serve the rice with the curry and enjoy!

- Rice vinegar- cup
- Honey- 5 Tbsp.
- Soya sauce- 1/3 cup
- Sesame oil- cup
- Chili garlic sauce- 3 Tbsp.
- Minced garlic- 3 tsp.
- Salt- a pinch
- Chicken thighs- 8
- Chopped green onion- 1 Tbsp.

Instructions:
- Mix together the rice vinegar, honey, soya sauce, sesame oil, chili garlic sauce, minced garlic and the salt.
- Reserve half of the marinade for the sauce and marinate the chicken thighs with the rest of the marinade.
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Put the marinated chicken thighs in a baking dish and put in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.
- Cook the rest of the reserved sauce in a sauce pan until it thickens.
- Pour over the cooked chicken thighs and top with chopped green onions.
- Serve!
