Chapter 1 Mastering Arousal
It would be true to say that most men do not have a complete education with regards to sex and arousal. It is therefore no surprise that very few think of sex as a vital bodily function and this is why they fail to understand how their bodies relate and behave to sex.
You would be right to assume that the majority of men understand little more than the actual act of sex and ejaculation. They never think further or try to understand the technique of arousal or educate themselves in the various stages of arousal. However, this is hardly surprising as men are not given the opportunity and simply rely on pornography.
Regardless of whether you have never had sex or you have been sexually active for years, this book is designed to help men understand their own body and how they can control their climaxes. At the end of the day, it really does come down to the art of teaching your body and mind to control the entire activity.
It is essential that you fully understand and are familiar with every stage of sexual excitement, and also what you think about during this process. Only when you know how both your body and mind will react when sexually aroused can you start to master the art of controlling your ejaculation.
When sexually aroused there are a number of mental and physical reactions that take place. As each reaction occurs the more aroused you become, this in turn leads you closer and closer to orgasm. Typically, you will find that you begin to experience the following:
Increased heart rate

Testicles draw closer to the body

Once you know that your body and mind will react in these ways, you can become aware of how you feel. You need to familiarize yourself with these reactions as this is a very important part of the awareness process.
The way in which you react to these feelings may mean that rather than breathing through your mouth, you recognize the need to breathe through your nose as this is calming and detracts your focus from the actual arousal.
By beginning to appreciate and gaining an understanding of your body, you can start to react in different ways to your movements and thoughts to delay your orgasm. The Stages of Arousal
