Unless you have lived under a rock for the past two decades Im sure youve heard this from absolutely everyone. It is one of those rare pieces of advice that spreads like wildfire and is adopted by every-single-person. This advice has become so popular it has basically been adopted as a rock-solid fact.


However it is a lie, with zero scientific evidence to support it. Thats right, one of the most well-known pieces of fitness and health advice is false.
