Appetizer Recipes

1. Party Burgers
Preparation Time: 21 minutes
Serving Size:
List of Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 tablespoon hummus
- 2 thawed puff pastry sheets
- 4 slices Monterey Jack cheese, nicely cut into quarters.

How to Cook:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Combine the beef and the hummus.
- Create 16 small patties.
- Brown the burgers for 3 minutes and each side and set aside.
- Cut the puff pastries into 16 squares.
- Top each square with a piece of cheese and one patty.
- Fold up the pastry sheet to close.
- Place the patties on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
2. Pico de Gallo
Preparation Time: 8 minutes

List of Ingredients:
- 2 diced tomatoes
- 1 diced onion
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 seeded and diced jalapeno pepper
- cup chopped cilantro

How to Cook:
- Combine the ingredients in a bowl.
- Refrigerate before serving.
3. Pepper Poppers
Preparation Time: 20 minutes

- 48 sweet mini peppers, cut lengthwise and seeded
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce

How to Cook:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Next, coat a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, Mexican cheese, breadcrumbs, and sriracha sauce.
- Then, gradually spoon the mixture into the pepper halves.
- Bake for 20 minutes.

4. No-Work Biscuits and Gravy
Preparation Time: 12 minutes
Serving Size:

- 6 large homemade biscuits
- 1 lb. crumbled pork sausage
- 2 cans of mushroom soup condensed cream
- 2 cups milk
- Salt and pepper

How to Cook:
- If desired, toast the biscuits in the oven for 3 minutes before setting them aside.
- Brown the sausage in a large skillet for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the cream or mushroom soup and milk and add salt and pepper.
- Simmer for 4 minutes until the gravy begins to bubble.
- Slice the biscuits in half and pour the gravy over the biscuits.
5. Drop Biscuits

- 2 cups self-rising flour (it must be self-rising; if not, add a teaspoon of baking soda
