How to Grill Shiitake Japanese Style

Ingredients

  • 12 shiitake mushrooms , stemmed
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oriental sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tsp roasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 bunch arugula , stems removed

Directions

  • Get a mixing bowl: Whisk in it the soy sauce, sesame oil, olive oil, and sugar.
  • Before you do anything, preheat the grill and grease it.
  • Arrange the mushroom caps on the grill. Coat them with the soy sauce mixture.
  • Grill them for 3 to 4 min on each side until they become soft.
  • Arrange the arugula on a serving plate.
  • Top it with the remaining soy sauce mixture and grilled mushrooms.
  • Garnish it with sesame seeds then serve it.
  • Enjoy.

Greek Eggplant Griller

Ingredients

  • 2 large aubergines , sliced lengthwise
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 9 oz. feta cheese
  • 1 bunch of mint , chopped
  • 1 red chile , chopped
  • lemon , juice
  • ground black pepper

Directions

  • Before you do anything, preheat the grill and grease it.
  • Coat the aubergine slices with oil. Grill them for 3 to 4 min on each side.
  • Get a mixing bowl: Stir in it the feta cheese and add in the chopped mint, chopped chili, and lemon juice.
  • Season them with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Place 1 tsp of feta mixture on the side of one aubergine slice. Roll it tightly and secure it with a toothpick.
  • Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients. Garnish them with some mint and serve them.
  • Enjoy.
